Lets start with the positives -
April was the best month for me cash-games wise. I started playing cash games only since January, and this is by far my best results. Secondly, I figured out that I am much more comfortable playing the 6-max “deep” tables and the PL heads-up tables on FTP. Just suits my LAGgy playing style better I guess. I started playing PL HU games this month (about 3K hands so far), and the results have been encouraging.
That being said, I have had a couple of months where I had made more than this thro’ MTTs, and seem to have totally lost my tourney game skills. Hardly even make it past the first break whenever I play a tourney these days. I have easily dropped 150-180$ this month on tourneys, and no cash from them! While I seem to be doing okay so far in PL HU games, I seem to have some major problems in NL HU games. Not being bankrolled enough, I am just going to have to wait until I grind up a roll from PL HU and NL 30 6-max before making a foray into NL HU again. Maybe that’ll give me some time to go thro’ those hands and see where I am screwing up.
